Visa Information for EICC 2026 Players

Welcome to the Individual European Chess Championships 2026 in Katowice, Poland! If you need a visa to participate, please review the details below to ensure a smooth process.

Key Visa Requirements

In accordance with Provision No. 12 of the European Chess Championships Regulations:

Players requiring visas are requested to contact the Organizing Committee and apply in due time to the Polish authorities. The Organizing Committee will provide visa invitations only after all required payments have been settled. The Organizing Committee bears no responsibility for late or incomplete applications.

How to Apply?

Submit your visa application or obtain official approval through your national federation.

When requesting an invitation, provide:

  • scanned copy of the participant’s passport
  • proof of payment (for individual entries)
