The conference presents the use of chess in education and its role in supporting learning and skill development. It brings together representatives of public institutions and education to exchange experience and implementation approaches.

The Silesian Chess Federation invites primary and secondary school students to participate in the School Chess Tournament, which is held as part of the European Individual Chess Championships. The event, featuring the cities of Katowice and the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis, aims to popularize chess among young people and encourage the development of strategic thinking and sportsmanship.
